Do you want to detect a future problem in time and save thousands of euros?
Increasingly we find manufacturers who make their products cheaper, leaving aside the quality and durability of their products and the materials with which they are made. Can you imagine having to raise an entire bathroom, with what it has cost you to reform it, just because you decided to choose a profile with which you saved 3 or 4 €? Crazy, right? Well, don't worry, because if this has happened to you, you are not the first.
At EUROSHIRNK, we strive every day to improve and maintain the quality of our products. The most common material nowadays is Aluminium. Our profiles have a thickness of 1.2mm, and we have come across profiles of 0.6mm, you can literally bend them with your fingers.
This is definitely a problem, the profiles are designed to protect the corners of the ceramic, they must withstand knocks and the passage of time. The moment a manufacturer decides to reduce that thickness, he puts on the market a product that is not really designed to fulfil its real function.
Another thing to take into account when choosing a profile is the microns of anodising with which it is manufactured, this is somewhat more difficult to see as we should ask for the manufacturer's technical data sheet or a laboratory examination in which they will indicate the microns of anodising that the profile contains, the resistance of the material used and which standard it would fall into according to its characteristics. EUROSHRINK not only meets the EN AW-6060 (EN AW-AIMgSi) standard, but in many aspects we have managed to exceed it by far. You can download our technical data sheet for aluminium in the downloadable files.
We encourage you to look among our solutions: corner, listelo, step, transition, expansion joint, interior angle, led, gutter, skirting or glass block.
